Just spoke with Andre from TFL Truck. We will be filming my truck on the IKE Gauntlet on Thursday Sept 8th. We will be using a new TFL Trailer with a weight of 4840 lbs. Nathan and Andre will be driving and doing the review. Should be interesting. I will be allowed to put my gopro in the back seat. I will not be able to post video till after they post theirs. I will try to get them to mention the ROC. I will post here after we film on Thursday and let everyone know how it went.

Yes they have seen my IKE Gauntlet Video. They will be doing the new video in their own format like they normally do.

I am not able to discuss specifics about the IKE Gauntlet Run with the TFL Guys. Heres what I can tell you. I had a great time with Nathan and Andre they where really cool. The video shoot went really well and like you I cant wait till it is posted. They could not say when it would be posted but they will give me a heads up when they know. I think we will see a fair review from them and I think they where definitely impressed. And yes they did mention the ROC on tape whether it makes the cut remains to be seen.

How would you feel pulling 5000 pounds downhill? Thanks for the IKE site, it is really informative.

Two things I notice watching videos about how the Ridgeline tows: no one seems to use weight distribution hitches and people tow 5,000 pounds without trailer brakes. They at least have breaks in this video but most I have watched don't have them.

Granted the ridgeline has more capability than my Odyssey but I wouldn't tow my 2,500 pound trailer without a weight distribution hitch. Here in California it is illegal to tow a trailer over 1,500 pounds without trailer breaks.

Guess you missed some of my towing videos. I always use WDH even on the G1. I wouldnt tow without it either especially on curvy mountain roads. Glad G2 honda manual says you can now use one if it is setup properly. I really like the E2 WDH with friction sway control.

Wow, very impressive. I can't believe it towed that well without a WDH. I'd LOVE to know what the tongue weight was.

The tongue weight was 460lbs. They used a weight distribution hitch without the trunion bars. The new trailer was'nt setup yet with the L brackets.
