That Volvo is about as aerodynamic as the RL. Let's drop that turbo'd V8 in the RL and see how it performs (with a rear diff/rear wheel drive that can handle the power)!

That sure looks like a Volvo, schooling the Lambo, which is pretty funny.

But I really doubt that's a V8, unless it's a Drop in Swap from GM or Ford, Volvo was always known for their Inline 4, 5 & 6's. Check this out

There have been V8 conversions (kits too) in the 240s for years. Its got a big engine compartment and is rear wheel drive.

In this case it's a 6 L V8. The turbo itself might be a $200 ebay item, but there are many, many other parts, modifcations / uprgrades that were done (including the enormous V8) to make power and put it down to pavement.

Oh yeah. 6L LT4 V8.. the description starts around the 1 minute mark. And then the distinctive V8 sound at about the 1:34 mark when he does a burnout.

Holy Macanoly! A bus passing a spinning Carrera.

Not usually a fan of cutting up irreplaceable sheet steel. Especially twin slider 60's era buses... but THAT was an awesome build - with family blood lines and beautiful fabrication craftsmanship.
Thanks for the link!

My buddy has a volvo v90 (or 70? its the last of the rwd wagons) that he dropped at vette engine into. Best part is they routed it through the stock volvo muffler and installed a cutout. So for super sleeper mode he keeps the cutout deactivated and it sounds like a volvo. They even used an OEM volvo dash button for the cutout. :act035:
