Speed!

Did I miss the picture??
No, I never posted the pic. In the daylight, my eyes saw a difference the camera lens didn't. So I didn't think it was worth posting. The difference between the 2 didn't show very well, even though my eyes could tell a huge difference.

If I get inspired, I could put an old OEM back in one one side and try to take a night shot, illustrating the difference. But I'd have to get inspired. ;)

Hard to beat for the money, eh?
Those LEDs are indeed impressive... especially for $12! But they are 6000k and I prefer 5000k personally.

OK, for those of you wanting to see the difference, I tried the next best thing to an OEM vs the LED. Here's a night shot of my truck with the new 5000K VLEDs compared to my wife's 2006 Pilot with the OEM bulbs. Quite a difference imo.

I'm thinking about replacing her interior lights as well as the backup lights with VLEDs too.

That is QUITE a difference in brightness, and the throw certainly over powers the Pilots OEM lights. Good investment!

Just installed these. Impressed.

LOL my across the street neighbor came out and asked if I replaced the backup lights on the Ridgeline. He said I was lighting up his living room.

Now he wants them for his RV. :surprise:

Went a different route. Upgraded to reverse lights AND added these.

Reverse lights are hanging around 1000lm and these ad another 1800lm. Could have gone bigger, but these are already lighting up several houses, so....why?

Surely you know by now that pics of them in use are required!

Yes, Yes, I knew that was coming. Been out of town (without the truck). I'll be back by the weekend.

So, here goes. We’re at a friends house and had an opportunity to grab some shots. First is all off. Second is reverse lights only. The incline of the driveway takes some of the brightness.

I think I'll try a set of those Flashwolves in the 2006 Pilot and compare to the VLEDs in the RL.

And oh yeah, I fixed that map light in the Pilot that's been out for.. years!

I received the Flashwolves and installed them in the Pilot tonight. Here are some comparison shots.

VLEDs in the RL, OEMs in the Pilot:

I can see the color difference, but honestly, I don't think there's $50 difference in them. I do think the VLEDs are a higher quality construction... or maybe that's just the higher price talking. ;)

That is quite a difference!

Replacement Back Up Bulbs - More Bright - LED?

Hi all - I heard from a friend that I can swap out the back up light bulbs in my 2011 Ridge with super bright LED so I can actually see when I back up at night (no camera - old school) does anyone have a recommended bulb that improves the back up lighting? LEDs or standard fare bulbs - recommendations, anyone?
