New BE owner. Thought I would try my luck with the Thule Xsporter 500XT rack in the bed now that things are a bit more traditional than the 1st generation. The shoes fit great but the clamping mechanism would need to be redesigned as there is not enough clearance. I am no engineer and for my needs I will just move on to the standard roof rack. Thought I would post this in case anyone else was interested. Other than that the truck is awesome. I'm coming from an Unlimited Rubicon with modifications and needed to get back to something that was a more practical DD but could still haul a plethora of toys.
