Tires, Wheels & Lifted MASTER Thread__POST PICS HERE

Admin:

I know there are multiple threads on this subject, I will try and update this thread as best I can. If you can raise the picture limit of this thread, that would help allot. If you can't, I'll just host the pics myself and provide links.

I'm hoping this thread can act as the MASTER Thread for Tires & Wheels. I want to purchase new wheels, possibily lift the truck a bit, but becasue this is so new ( The ridgeline ) I will admit, I am whussy.

Please post pics of:

1. Your Ridgeline
2. Your friends Ridgeline
3. A Ridgeline you found on the internet
4. Lifted and Modded Trucks OK!

I like the wheels, but will have to see a distant shot of the truck in full to really appreciate the red wheels.

I still can't get over how good those wheels look on your truck Mark.
you should paint the middle part or all of your roof rack the same color orange.
I guess i should post my new wheels and tires.

20" Boss 338 gunmetal with chrome lip wrapped in Falken Ziex STZ-04 275/45/20 tires
Dusty, the truck looks great, I started looking for new tires now probably won't need them until fall,I'll probably look into getting wheels at that time too, I love the gun metal and I think they would look good on the steel blue, I think I'll go with the Hankook tires too when the time comes.

The color I used is actually very bright red.
Good idea Capt......I have been thinking about that or doing the tube nerf bars to match.
I'm going to try it in photoshop this evening.

A little subtle for my tastes......That is unique looking, no doubt. While you're painting your cross bars, don't forget to paint your calipers as well....but you may have to go with a different color than red or they'll never be seen.

Wow...it's been called many things but subtle ain't one of them ;)

Yes agreed on the calipers. I saw one on here with them done in black with Honda in silver or white I think.
Do I need to use a VHT paint?

Don't worry, as you can tell by my truck, subtlety is not one of my shortcomings either. You'll need to get some Caliper paint. Here's a link to some on Amazon...

It's a pretty straight forward job and you've obviously shown you're at home with painting, so you shouldn't have a problem. Do they have Autozone in Maui. If so you should be able to get it there as well.

LOL.....
Yes your truck was one that inspired me to do my thing.
It is way cool.
Mahalo for the paint link....now which color

American Racing Fuel Rims w/BFG M/T KM2 (245/70R17) Tires

(Purchased from SilverRidge08...Thanks!). Do not have lift kit....but required some grinding/trimming to make them fit. I plan to put the mud flaps back on after I do some more trimming. Either way...the look is what I wanted..."aggressive"!

That's called a Hunter bumper guard. They use to sell it on eBay... It's the first one I have seen in black.

Here's an old thread from 12/06 when it first came out. http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11764

The eBay seller:

I think I paid $139 for a SS one... I later took it off and sold it as I changed up the look of my RL...

As Xridgelinex mentioned, it was around $130. At the time, only chrome was available. I bought the chrome, then powered coated it black to match the rest of the hunter bumper. I was happy with the job..considering the powered coating part was almost the same price as the whole bar ($80). The bumper has already saved the Ridge several times...with my parking skills :act002:
Has anybody put Wire Wheels on their Ridgeline and any Pic's...?

I looked into that option when I first got my truck. There's a company in Ohio which makes wire wheels for a number of American and imports, but none for the Ridgeline. They would custom make a set of wheels, but at nearly $1,800PER wheel for the Ridgeline, it hardly seems viable.
