Spotted at one of the few fuel stations with a Hydrogen pump.

Other than a big fat ? - no comment on the cosmetics of this vehicle, its practicality for anything other than local commuting or the price. Like big screen TV's, early adopters of new stuff help drive costs down.

OK, can't help it. Gotta comment. The trend towards bug eyed headlights and bulbous tail lights is hideous. Just my opinion.

I'm probably not paying attention, but this is the first time I've seen a Hydro pump.

And then there's the sticker price. Good thing early adopters are willing to suffer thru lack of fuel stations, limited driving range and all the other hooey it takes to get the ball rolling. It's a small sedan, with cool tech that comes at a very high price IMO

For that price & lack of fueling stations where I live...give me the Prius.

Yah, the Prius has the added benefit of eliminating "range anxiety" from the driving experience.

The Mirai raises a few questions. Other than calculating the range of any road trip, one has to wonder about the absence of a crash safety rating on the window sticker. Hydrogen being what it is, inevitable rear end collisions might become genuine hair on fire events.

I'm sure Toyota has limited their liability with their structural design, and the technology is evolving, but volunteering to be a human Guinea pig in a real world laboratory for the low, low price of $58,000? I'll pass on that one too.
The front and rear are simply grotesque. The interior is my idea of absolute perfection, however!
Sorry, the styling isn't doing anything for me, interior or exterior.

If I had $58k to spend on personal transportation, this would come in at #87,653 on my list right after buying 37 rusty 1984 Chrysler K-cars.

You could get a lot more than 37 Chrysler K-cars for $58k, if you could find that many...
CNG is far more practical. There is a new CNG fill station near my work.
I can tolerate the interior styling but the gloss surfaces would be finger print magnets AND overbearing reflective. The outside is, uhm... repulsive.

.......... that's the word!
