Fair enough, 6 weeks seems a little excessive and not as helpful. Sorry this bit you. Unfortunately there appear to be numerous instances like this on the website with different sections saying different things; such as the thread on here about whether or not the RTL-T has navigation. If there is anything that is really important to potential buyers I guess it's best to confirm in the flesh before/when purchasing.The Honda gift card would be delivered in 6 weeks.
... This is true... but getting it right one place shouldn't absolve them from being responsible for getting it wrong somewhere else. We don't all see ALL of different sources of info they provide. If you've already seen all you need to, you may not want to delve into the detail.... and you shouldn't HAVE to delve into that detail to makie sure they don't have conflicting info there, right? !Not trying to defend Honda here as I did also see what you saw and thought they all came with the connector. However, it is clearly stated in the specs section on the website.

I agree they should make it right for Jim_bo, and they should edit their website. I indeed thought all came with the connector initially, I even started a thread on here about it myself. I was disappointed when I went to look at the sport, as the towing capacity and hitch was on my list of things to check out. When I saw no connector and my salesman didn´t have any info yet, I took to the website.... This is true... but getting it right one place shouldn't absolve them from being responsible for getting it wrong somewhere else. We don't all see ALL of different sources of info they provide. I share the opinion that they need to own up for sure & make it right. I suspect they will do that, if this gets elevated beyond the dealer level responsibility. Escalate this issue!

What if Honda across the front page said "350 Horsepower and 35MPG", so you buy it only to see that somewhere else in the advertising media it has the true figures? No free pass, here. Make it right. Own your errors Honda.There is no doubt it is very misleading, my point is it may be hard to call them on it because it does specify on the specs section.
What I don´t understand is why the dealer can´t go ahead and install this for the OP and they wait 6 weeks for payment from Honda.
It clearly states EVERY Ridgeline... not just the AWD.

Not quite.It clearly states that every Ridgeline comes with a trailer hitch and 7 pin connector. It doesn't say anything about the connector being wired and the specs breakdown clearly indicate which models came pre-wired. I think it's great that Honda is providing you with a $200 gift card when they really are not obligated to do anything.

In one place it says that "every Ridgeline features a standard integrated tow hitch with 7-pin connector." (read: Hitch and 7-pin connector nothing about wiring)
In another place it says "Pre-wired for 7-Pin connector (2WD) and "7-Pin connector(AWD). read: 2WD comes pre-wired for a 7-Pin connector.
So, as written they all come with the hitch and 7 pin connector.
The 2wd also comes pre-wired for said connector.
Searching on the Pilot forums it appears that Honda has been claiming for quite some time that various models are "pre-wired" for towing when all they really mean is that you can buy an additional harness to connect the pre-wiring to the plug (no splicing or additional relays/amps required). Other trim levels (such as the Touring) come "completely wired", not "pre-wired". Look around other forums...apparently the term "pre-wired" is not universal from one manufacturer to the other (Honda, Toyota, GMC and Jeep appear to have different interpretations).
