Maybe the gift card was they way of acknowledging the mistake without setting a precedent? In the end it won't cost you anything but a little time to get the wiring harness installed, which means Honda is doing right in my book

Fair enough, 6 weeks seems a little excessive and not as helpful. Sorry this bit you. Unfortunately there appear to be numerous instances like this on the website with different sections saying different things; such as the thread on here about whether or not the RTL-T has navigation. If there is anything that is really important to potential buyers I guess it's best to confirm in the flesh before/when purchasing.
