Hi Guys,

I have a 2006 Ridgeline. I'm having issues with starting the truck and I think it may be something to do with bad sensors related to the transmission. Even though it's in park when I try to start it, often when I turn the key nothing happens.

To get it to start I have put the parking brake on, move the shifter around into drive, then put it back into park and it will start up. Any ideas as to what may be the problem? I'm hoping it's just a sensor and not something more significant with the transmission. This work around worked for a few months but it seems like it's getting worse. It takes a little longer of playing around with the sifter before it registers that it's in park... if that makes sense...

Thanks.
