Hi everyone,
I am having some trunk issues , wondering if anyone has experienced this....

I had my door latching mechanism (actuator) on my driver door rip through the door and had to reattach it with sheet metal, during that time the door sensor locks would lock and unlock frequently as it was not recognizing the door being closed . I have a feeling it did something to the trunk.

I can open the trunk with the key but the unlock button will not allow me to open the gate with the latch. I have checked the glove compartment button and that is not working.

The only way to open the trunk is with the key.
i checked the fuses and all seem fine, i am thinking it must be an electrical issue but not sure where to start.

There is an in-bed trunk lid opener main switch under the driver's side dashboard and an MICU built into the fuse box under the dash.

Here is the wiring diagram for the in-bed trunk locking system.
