Today there was heavy winds in Northern Virginia. A large plastic disk flew across the road and flipped up right in front of me.

It hit the hood and made some nasty marks. No dents. I hope I can buff them out.

The marks buffed out very well. There are some fine marks that are hard to see that will need a machine buffing. But very happy it's back to 99.9%.

What products did you use?

On the paint I just used a wax safe soap. Washed and dry then washed and dry again until the marks were gone.

On the bug defector I used fine grit pasted. The stuff you get as the final step on headlight leans restore kits.
