Maybe Honda gave away some of their demo Ridgelines after the big San Antonio event, "selling" them for a dollar to high rollers, etc. New owners play with them for a while, but have already had their heart set on a "real" truck (whatever that is), and trade it in on a luxury GMC truck or SUV...
Or maybe new owners had their tailgates fail, and threw their hands up in disgust, and decided to buy a "reliable" truck (whatever that is) from their local Chevy dealer...
I wonder how many used EcoBoost trucks showed up shortly after their debut when new owners drove them through the rain?
