Hey guys, I was checking my interior fuses due to my drivers and passenger map lights both being out.

I accidentally pulled the 7.5 amp backup fuse and upon doing so i hear this strange clicking sound that stopped when i replaced the fuse. After I put the fuse back in and turned on my car both the check engine light and VTM-4 light come on.

We just had snow and I used the VTM-4 lock so I know it was working prior to today. Should I disconnect and re-connect the battery? Hope my dumbness didn't just cost me. Thanks all

Dave

Everyone knows to buy switches when the map lights won't work unless you want to bend the contacts forever. But yes there is plenty of vtm, vsa, airbag and other lights sticking on. Many times a bad battery is the cause and many times no one knows what is causing it.
