Just picked up a new to me Baja mity lite 16 foot toy hauler. Would like to run a WDH. Was wondering what wdh to buy? was checking this one outwhat do you think?

Here are the trailer specs:
GVWR, 7000 lbs
Axle weight, 2890 lbs (double axels on trailer)
Hitch weight, 460 lbs
Trailer weight dry, 3350 lbs
Loaded weight aprox, 4600 lbs
Ridgeline has a Curt trailer hitch rated at 600 lbs hitch and 6000 trailer rated WDH

Gotta make sure the hitch you have is rated for a WDH. And then take whatever it is rated for then shop for a WDH.


And that doesn't seem like a bad selection except the whole cant back up thing.

Hitch is rated 600 tongue 6000 trailer WDH.

No reverse would be a deal killer for me. I use an Equalizer wdh; no need to remove the friction bars just to back up into the campsite. Sometimes I DO take the bars off before backing in, but not usually.

I have the same wdh. You can back up with it, just remove the friction bar and back up all you want.
