What type of cleaner do you use on interior/dash/door panels? Is Armor All a good product for this interior?

Armor all has always been slimy and greasy to me. And idk if they have changed there formula but it was known to suck moisture out of things so they crack faster.

But I love these they smell good.(pacific rain smell)

They have clean and detail. I use the clean followed by a damp towel and then sometimes I use the detail but usually I don't have time.

Those look good. New car scent too? What do you think about Meguiar detailer wipes? I remember back when I took Auto Body in HS, the teacher was all about Meguiar products.

I am not a fan of new car scent anything. New leather scent im down. I think meguiars and mothers will always be good no matter what. They are pretty old school top dog detail products. I have not used any other wipes. I always used to use diluted simple green to clean usually. But now I use the wipes for quick details and if I need to really scrub something out I use simple green.

Usually Meguairs interior detailer sprayed on a microfiber cloth and then wipe down. In between those times I have a microfiber duster that I use on the dash.

What 'around the house' type of cleaner do people use and recommend? I appreciate the car detailing products from the major brands but what do people use when you simply want to use what is "on hand"?

Paul.
I really like the Chemical Guys stuff - I use the leather cleaner regularly, then occasionally use the conditioner... never greasy, looks just like the day I received delivery of the new truck.

This cleaner is excellent I have been using it in my wife's 2017 Accord EXL V6 on the leather seats. It cleans the blue dye from her jeans of the seats. I follow with the conditioner it looks like new. My 17 RL has black leather and it works great in there too. Btw I have a Siberian Husky that rides in the back seat of the RL occasionally. She sheds like crazy and her hair doesn't stick!

Wha do you guys do about little specs that get stuck in the perforations. I some I can't get out with a vacuum or cloth
^^^Small, high quality paint brushes work great for this.

If it's really stuck in there, try a toothpick.

Did the duct tape and that worked great.

I use several products and it depends on how much I have at the time. Also depends what area of the interior I'm using it on.
I use GRIOT'S GARAGE Interior Cleaner to remove oil dirt ect. It's great for vinyl factory leather. After cleaning I use the 303 Aerospace Protectant on dash leather seating surfaces steering wheel it's not slippery. It's great UV Dust Stain and Water repellent. Sometimes I use Mother's VLR for door panels or some Meguiar's products.

I use 303 exclusively on my boat seats. They still look brand new. Will also use 303 in my G2. Top notch product.
