In the over five years I've had my truck, I don't think I've ever actually put anything in there. I use the area below the console lid for most of my receipts and other junk. I don't really keep much of anything laying around in my vehicles. I like keeping them clean. Plus, as was mentioned, that cubby area is a little hard to reach from the driver's seat. My wife, on the other hand, puts anything she can in there. I'm certain she'd try to stuff a Thanksgiving turkey in there if she could.
