What have you hauled lately?

*** POST your pics of hauling and/or towing ***

Just thought it would be fun to see the various uses of the G2 Ridgeline's versatility in hauling stuff in the bed and/or towing... I've seen a number of pics in various threads but thought it would be good to put all into one thread.

This was mine over the weekend hauling musical instrument/PA gear for a gig on Saturday night, with room in the front and back seats for my wife and 22 yr old son to help "roadie"... I found that it can haul as much gear as my 2005 Chevy Avalanche did with the RL's back seat flip up and in bed trunk.

Guitars, Amp head in roadcase, 3 level toolbox with cables and gear, 18" powered subwoofer, (2x) 12" powered speakers, Effects rack, Mixer, 4x12 speaker cab (backseat area), various mic/speaker stands, etc.

First I hauled some trash cans full of compost and some blueberry bushes... Then I picked up some hay! The guy loading the hay asked if I wanted a 21 bale bundle forklifted into the back... He said he's seen "Little Toyota's" take a bundle so I would have no problem. But alas I declined because then I would have to unload 21 bales. LOL

One thing I need to get used to is the fact that when I am standing in the bed, if I turn around, don't keep walking because the bed is not 8 feet long and I'd fall off the back!
Is there anything protecting the rear glass or is the lip on the bed good enough?
The Accord back there is a 2013 EXL-V6. I had it since new, very fast car for what it is. I think most magazines rate it at 6 or so seconds to 60 and like a 98 mph 1/4 mile trap speed. All along giving me 28 mpg on the highway. That car has essentially the same motor and transmission as the G2. So when I bought the G2 I was confident of the motor and transmission. I know that I will be opening a can of worms with the following… The Accord has the new style of VCM compared to the VCM of old and I can tell you that even though on paper the Accord and the G2 have the same style of VCM, the one on the G2 is further improved, so much so that I have not even given the muzzler any thought.

The reported weight of the Accord is 3551, it had a full tank of fuel. U-Hauls states that the dolly weights 750 lbs empty.
Side note:

I have a 14 EXL-V6 same color as you (no sport wheels though) and I couldn't agree with you more. The tone on the Accord and RL forums regarding VCM is so different. On the Accord forum it's about muzzling the vibrations and about preventing damage to the pre-Earth dreams V6's. On the RL forum it is all about saving the engine from fear of the unknown. I put out a question on the Accord forum if anyone knew if there were Earth Dreams V6 failures due to VCM and the only response that I saw was from the muzzler man himself. My daughter goes to college this year, no way am I ready to part with my Accord. It's like having the best of both worlds!

10' and 8' and 6'. Plus a bunch of other crap

Wish they had that darn window on lower trims! I had to use a CRV for two 10 foot long PVC pipes and the hatch even closed.

First time pulling off tonneau. Had several inches wet snow. Really heavy and old snowblower was not having any of it. Unfortunately have to reconfigure garage shelving now, the chute on the new one is too high.:(

Every time I go to the Depot, they love the tailgate but none of the guys are aware of it. Daughters ordered 36 retaining wall blocks and two bags of crusher base for me to pick up at curbside pickup last week to build a firepit for the bride for Mother's day.. Turns out that a lot more was needed but the daughters get an A for the effort. Didn't take pics but it took two days and several extra trips but the pit is now complete.

A few weeks ago I did the math in my head wrong and hauled 2500 lbs of mulch in the bed. Thankfully Lowe’s is only a mile from my house. The truck handled it great.

Damn, guess you had to drive 1mph to get home with no spills.:)
Lowes had a sale on mulch 15 bags fit perfectly until I realized I got the red mulch:cautious:

Last weekend used a crappy CRV from Albany to Boston to drop daughter#1 at college. Didn't want to take it with it's jittery CVT but got vetoed as no one wanted to sit in the back seat. (Big reason why I have an RL is because it had the most rear seat room:confused:).

Daugher #2 departs from Albany to Cornell tomorrow. Finally got approval to use RL as she has too much stuff to fit in a CRV. Totally forgot about the trunk in the RL as we never use it. Trunk alone gobbled up 30% of the stuff. Plenty of room left over, very pleased but know for the next truck, don't need a back seat but more bed length. Hope to make it back to catch some of the INDY 500.

EDIT: Pretty hot outside today, low 90's. 324 miles round trip got 27.7 with AC on the whole way and loaded up with college stuff and 3 people for the 1st half. 180 Highway and the rest country roads anywhere from 30-55, little traffic. Very hilly and bumpy (I-88).
Apparently I've been hauling this stowaway around for a few days, wife opened the passenger door on the 2022 RL last night and this fella greeted her - the meeting was not mutually enjoyed.
Don't know what kind he is but we shooed him away- and a good time was had by all View attachment 432890
Nope, no way can't handle that. That's worse than a leak in the cab!! Glad to be shoveling snow today.
