What Ridgeline products would you like to see?

Just as the title says, what products do you all wish to see released for the Ridgeline and/or what do you want to see more of? We have more unique products coming out very soon but would like to know what the community is looking for specifically.

Let's put our heads together and create something cool!

Ohhh I know what you mean, sorry. Some of our new products may be able to help with that in the way of adding something to them to create a wall, but most that need this specific option may opt to go the cheaper route and throw in some plywood etc. Either way, something to think about and something our new products may still help with. Thank you!
In that same vein of thought, perhaps a hard (fiberglass) tonneau cover that sat 5-6 inches above the bed rails? I've seen a number of comments on this forum about how most coolers, etc., would fit under the tonneau covers if there were just a couple more inches if headroom.

Make the tonneau open from either side with a hinge down the middle, perpendicular to the cab. Or three doors, like that version that Diamondback makes but doesn't offer for the Ridgeline.

Or maybe just spacers that would go between existing tonneau covers and the bed rails. Stackable modular one- or two-inch spacers... not sure what to do with tailgate though. And the buyer would lose a little rearward visibility, but not as much as with a full cap.

Like most on here, front center sensor retrofit would be awesome. I would love some front recovery hooks that are sturdy enough to actually pull the truck out of a ditch.

Sun visors that block the sun straight on but are transparent when looking at them from an angle.

Working on this currently (shh).
Awesome! Can you say when this might be available?

Replacement tow mirrors with turn signals and defroster that's a simple bolt in and replace (with harness). I know they have them for the Tundra that look like GM tow mirrors, and have been searching for a compatible replacement for the Ridgeline, but all that's out there are those strap down types. The side mirror bolt pattern on the Ridgeline is too narrow for anything I have been able to find so far. Best part is, it would work with the Ridgeline, Pilot, and Passport. Don't even care about color match, make em black.
Regarding the gear display, ideally there would simply be a software upgrade so the current gear would display all the time on the dash - the way it does on the current (new) models when you shift with the paddle shifters in D mode.
Awesome! Can you say when this might be available?
Thanks! Hopefully within the next month or so!

Interesting, forgive my ignorance but why transparent from an angle?

I like this idea. Just curious what size trailer are you generally towing that requires it? We use a 6x12 enclosed trailer and get by with the stockers but I imagine its quite difficult for those with the larger ones.

Ah okay, thank you for clarifying. Not our forte but something Honda should do for sure.

Excellent, thanks for sharing. I’ll keep an eye out.

As a passenger, my wife always has the sun visor down. Instead of constantly asking her to flip it up, it would be nice to see through it. It would allow for unobstructive view of cross traffic, peds etc.

Grille guard, we need driving lights.
Grill Guards can have a very negative impact on frontal air bag deployment should you get into a frontal collision. They can cause more damage to the occupants than not having it at all. If you cherish safety, then you definitely do not want a grill guard. If you want looks (which its subjective), then get the grill guard ;)

Bed rail tie down system like the Tacoma has, or the one @CentexG2 designed for the RL.
Yes, this exactly! Would be great to have a kit packaged with everything you need.

I've seen his, very nicely done. A one stop setup would be ideal and something worth looking into, thank you.
A lot of the rack systems currently available for a Ridgeline use side rails for mounting. As of course you know. 😉

overhead rack to carry two 12' kayaks so I can store camping gear in bed. Hard to get past all that surface cover (which I love, but...).

I'm not sure such a thing exists, but have you looked into or tried one of those flip-down visors like this (there are tons of others, it's just one of the first that came up in a search):

Universal Clip on Car Shade Sun Visor Extension Anti Glare Mirror Window Shield - Walmart.com

I have a similar one (can't find the original link where I got it) that I've used on a long East-West road trip where I didn't want to be staring into the sun for hours at a time...

For me, a complete kit for mounting bed accessory rails that doesn't include needing to drill, paint, etc. would be great. I don't exactly need them at the moment, but front recovery hooks would be awesome.

While we're dreaming, a re-working (so as to not get sued by Honda) of the insanely overpriced even when it was available, Park Lock release tool (07AAA-TZ3A100), would be a godsend to a lot of us Ody/Passport/Pilot/Ridgeline ZF9 owners 😁

I wouldn't put one on a truck like ours, without a frame. You are absolutely right. I know a lot have asked for one, that's why I mentioned it.

Great list Nervey. Several items on there are within our ballpark and we will explore them.

Are you talking about the full brush guards? I know there are at least two companies making the low bull bars for the 17-22's but not sure if there is a full guard for the Gen 2.5's.

I like this, need to figure out the logistics of it all with the dual open tailgate but yeah, I'm sure it would be popular. Thank you.

Haven't seen this complaint, so you are looking for like a mini LCD screen?

Unfortunately we can't do anything further with our current line up, but it is something to consider for the future if there is enough interest for sure. Magnum makes a nicer version what you are looking for but nothing for the Ridgeline.

I have attached an image from our Ridgeline to show how little the view is compromised with the rack installed and even with the aftermarket brackets we added on. We usually have tools laid across there too but can see quite well. Third brake light was a concern but after driving behind it with different vehicles you can see it light up day/night. Rear window access hasn't really been much of a concern since those with the rear window can still reach through or put items through it without trouble - We hear you though.

For offroading or just daily driving? Just curious.

Pretty sure the Ridgeline store is selling something like that now ?

Every review I’ve read is unfavorable of the plateau j sport product-weight and quality issues

Any examples with pictures? This sounds interesting/fun.

1) Also would like to see an example if you find one?
2) Working on this right now (shh)

I've seen it, pretty sure that was NoLo Designs that did it - was a really cool concept. I'll see if he's still working on that.

Have you checked amazon etc? They probably have something that slides into it and replaces the oem up holders?

Apologies on the delayed response, been travelling for a bit. For my 6 X 12 ATV trailer I have no problems, but on occasion I will pull a buddy's extra 7 x 16 covered snowmobile trailer. It still works, but would prefer (and would pay for) the option to swap them out and spend a second or two less looking at the mirror to make sure I'm clear to change lanes. Also, I always felt the low position of the mirrors was pretty annoying, and with the taller towing mirrors I would only have to glance to the side instead of to the side and down. I know it's a nitpick, but again it's a nitpick I would pay to get rid of. I guess the question is, would enough Ridgeline/Pilot/Passport owners be willing to pay for the upgrade to make it worth the time/cost of creating this. Since I have an rtl I'm not pre-wired for the mirror signals, but I have no problems running the wires through the doors.
