Wheel Picture Thread

IMHO the factory wheels are nice but rather boring. Is there a dedicated wheel picture thread somewhere here? Would be nice to see various options mounted on the Gen2. I will have my Black Widows installed next Wednesday and post pictures.

I've not seen such a thread yet.

I know there are at least two members in here running Black Rhino Wheels on their gen 2 Ridgelines but have yet to see any good pictures installed.

I've been shopping for wheels for this thing for a month now and it's hard to find a wheel that is more Trucky then car like. Lets face it, the Gen 2 Ridgeline is running a car sized wheel and with that comes car like styling to the majority of the offerings which I don't really care for myself.

Looking forward to seeing what you are installing.

What do you mean ?? some trucks are stocked with 17"...and even Jeep have 17" stocked....sidewall matters !!>:)
What I mean is that you don't normally find 5 on 120mm lug pattern 18x8 inch wheels with 35-55mm offsets made in truck styling. That particular sizing is apparently found more so on cars and SUVs

That's just my opinion of course when it comes down to styling.

I was focusing on the word SIZED when replied.

I personally don't really care for all these after market wheels that are manufactured today, their looks just don't do too much for me, I guess I'm just an old Crager chrome wheel lover, LOL. One wheel combination that I really like it the Pilot Touring and Elite wheels, 20", from the 2016 models. I have considered buying a takeoff set, having the wheels powder coated to match the Modern Gray of my new RL, and a new set of tires 20" for these wheels. I have seen this setup on a G1 and the wheels not powder coated and they look really good in their 20" wheel look.

I've got my Enkeis picked out! And they are a few pounds lighter than the stockers.
Hi,
New member here, cut me some slack if I'm in the wrong spot.
Just bought my BE and I want to immediately add tires/wheels and the Bartman lowering springs. I've seen many I like, but I want to run 22" Ruff Racing R1 wheels. What size tires should I go with? Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to the ROC! You're not alone in wanting to change out your tires/wheels on your RL. I haven't seen any 22's done, yet, but I have seen a lot of 20's done on here. Check out the following threads for more info...

I hope your local roads are in good condition if you go the rubber band tire route like you are proposing. Those tires / rims wouldn't last 1000 miles in the pot hole ridden area where I live.

Well, I'll submit pictures soon, I ordered my tires and wheels today.
No pot holes here, it's 80-100 mph everywhere you go. Not kidding.
