Ocotillo Wells, CA. Right before all the state parks closed. Wish I took a picture where I got stuck but between the sun going down & me panicking... You're going to have to use your imagination.

Now I didn't plan on going on such a difficult terrain. So all I had with me was a shovel. Extremely surprised & pleased with the Firestone Destination LE2 @40psi. I thought I would have to airdown but never lost traction. Had lots of fun experiencing rolling on only 3 wheels. It was of course nerve-wrecking not knowing if I would not find the next trail marker or seeing it across a ravine.

Oh & this is where I made camp. Apparently I was so well hidden the park rangers never stopped by. So I don't know if a charcoal starter qualifies as a metal container.

Oh yeah no cell signal... At least the GPS showed that I was driving on a riverbed.

Well I am a bit envious of you guys and I do not have a picture of Donner Lake and my 2017 RTL T. How ever that truck got very good gas mileage. Filled up right at a gas station across from the on ramp. Drove to Red Bluff and had to stop for my wife to use the rest room. Thought my fuel gauge had a problem, so I topped off and turns out I had driven 161 miles and used 4.59 gallons. 35.07mpg. I got 30 twice from Florence, Ore. to Brookings, Ore. One other time I got 32 from Fresno, Ca to Saugus, Ca. I felt bad when I traded it for a 2020 RTL-E.
