I hope you will read and heed these words....I'm getting sick of trying to find my preferred color combo in the RTL-T, and am wondering if the RTL might be a better choice. At least it improves my chances of turning up a white exterior with black inside.
Can I get a nice aftermarket touchscreen rig installed by Best Buy or someone else that gives me nav, etc.?
Several gentleman are ready to do just this on this forum, right now. They are just waiting for their trucks to get in. They are both knowledgeable electrical guys. They are doing us all a great service, so just wait a few weeks as it should be less than a month now and they'll be posting all the details. I'll be buying just a RTL AWD, and I will be following their leads. Pioneer, Alpine, or Kenwood Nav unit, and replacing all the factory speakers for better components. And I'm going to throw a smart start alarm on it so I can arm/disarm and remote start, the truck with my phone. OEM alarms I do not like. Smart start means if someone tried to vandalize or burglarize my vehicle I will be notified anywhere in the world where I have cellular service. Real nice for when you need to park outside of your garage, a movie theater, or a sporting event. Anyplace your factory fob won't go.
Stick around and watch these guys install them in their trucks then make your decision. Many of us do not want to be tied to the OEM navigation unit on the t, e, and be of this truck. The new RL has the building blocks for one of the best cabin audio out there on the market today. The RTL has the extra sound deadening and acoustic windshield. I'm really excited (can't you tell) to see these guys install these systems because I think the truck has a lot of capability for an outstanding audio system. Or you can just put in a Nav unit only
