I want to get a set of wheels and snows for my 2017. I found a set of alloy 17" Gen 1 wheels with TPS. Will the wheels fit the Gen 2? Will the TPS's work on Gen 2. Thanks,

Tried it. Learned the TPMS from Gen 1 do not work on Gen 2. Different frequency.

I can live with the warning light for a few months. I have snow tires mounted on Gen 1 wheels and want to put them on my 2017 Ridgeline but I'm concerned with the offset. Other than the TPMS will they work OK?

I had them on for a couple of weeks with no issue. Just the indicator being a pain. Had to acknowledge it every time I started the truck.
