I live in the South.....Like the white paint.....cooler than my Burgundy vehicle for sure.

Does not show dirt very much. Sometimes I just get a wet rag to touch up the lower black trim.

Honestly the pearl is very subtle under most lighting conditions.

Hello Just traded in a 2016 Pilot Exl Platinum White Pearl Brown Leather Interior for 2023 Ridgeline Rtle Hpd. I also have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport Platinum White Pearl color is really nice great color! My daughter had a 2020 Honda Civic Sport Hatch Modern Steel Metallic she just traded in for 2024 Honda Civic Sport Hatch Touring Black on Black. Either color is nice, For a Pilot I would go with White. (y)

Wife and I have owned a large number of vehicles over the years. After driving various colored vehicles for many years, around ten years ago we decided to only purchase white cars (when purchasing new). We have owned two, new, white Honda vehicles with white metallic paint; a 2013 Crosstour and the 2023 RTL-E Ridgeline and the 2019 Toyota Highlander that we sold after purchasing the Ridgeline was also metallic white. We also live in the south and as "ATL RL" said (in the post above this one), it does not show dirt very much and the white paint is cooler (doen't heat up as much from the sun as a darker car). Other drivers on the road are also more likely to see a white (or lighter colored) vehicles coming at them vs a darker colored vehicle. *I also have a 34 year old Mercedes 500 SL that I use as a errand runner, going to the Dr. etc. and It is jet black. I love the way the black looks but the dark paint holds a lot of heat when I park it for a short time on a sunny day. If I don't turn on my headlights during the day, people are much more prone to pulling out in front of me. I attribute this to the car being black and blending into the overall scenery more than a lighter colored car. Just my two cents.

I got my Platinum White RL in mid-January and really like the color although it's not as rich looking as the White Platinum Tri-coat on my former 2014 F-150 KR. As I live off a dirt/gravel road having a lighter color is easier to keep clean plus having a lighter color (white or silver) doesn't show the imperfections that occur over time. Plus various studies have shown that White is one of the safest colors - easier to see especially in bad weather although if driving in heavy snow the vehicle would kinda disappear.

I have punished myself for decades by only owning one vehicle that wasn't black. Black is hot, hard to maintain, scratches show as white, and you can do some but not a lot with striping or decals if that was ever your thing. I'm about to turn over a new leaf on my next vehicle and go white. Cooler, scratches are not as visible, and not only can I put racing or pin stripes however I want... I can always WRAP it in another color if I ever had remorse... sooo... yeah, white, I dig it.

Interesting. The two white vehicles we have owned seemed to be invisible to everyone else on the road. Tons of close calls. Probably because it's so gray here in the midwest for 6 months of the year!

Personally, I only like the white on the Ridgeline with the BE trim. The contrast is great. I think it's especially nice with fender flares. Those only look good on a couple of colors IMO. But the white with the lower trims doesn't do it for me at all.

I doubt there is much of a connection between the white of my 2014 GenI and the Platinum White of a 2024 but as food for thought . . . Honda definitely had issues with the earlier white. Paint adhesion was one of them which so far thankfully my 2014 doesn't have a problem with. It does have issues with the paint being chalky, impossible to bring to a shine, and easy to stain. There was a recall on some of the white Pilots but the red headed step child Ridgeline never got included even though the issue obviously effects it as well. On the plus side, white definitely keeps the vehicle cooler in the summer.

Did someone said platinum white with black fenders?

My 2023 BE came in Platinum White Pearl, Black of course & that wet concrete gray colour. I turned down a black BE they had in stock, so I had to wait 3 months fir the PWP to arrive.
Its a very attractive colour. With the right wax…..I use Girot’s Garage 3-in-1 ceramic spray-on…the intensity of the metal flakes & the magical glistening is outstanding. I enjoy the wax application……I turn on the bed speakers, wax & at the same time treat my windshield with RainX.
Hands down, the Platinum White Pearl is your best choice.

Some manufacturers have problems with the white paint on their vehicles either fading or peeling. It might make a difference as to how long you expect to own the vehicle whether you choose white or not. Just something to be aware of.

We've had 2 white cars (Rogue and CRV). I won't get white again. In the spring the white turns into a greenish yellow from pollen for about 1 month, the sides where we got door dings were very noticeable, and I don't think it hid dirt that well. I have the 2 gray cars now and they hide pollen/dirt/door dings much better. Silver would be another good color I think. My son has a goldish/tan color car and I think that hides imperfections well too, but that color isn't for me.

Thanks all the sales lady said might be easier to find the Platinum White Pearl with Brown than Modern Steel Metallic with Brown interior. Then I threw her another twist I want the Towing Package.
