I can hear the same wind noise at highway speed. The higher the speed, the louder it gets. It's really annoying at 75mph, especially if there are strong cross winds. I realized that my wife could also hear it on the passenger side as she tried opening and closing the passenger window while we were on the highway.

If I pushed out on the top of the door/window while driving, there would be a wind noise, but it's a different sound.

I tried all the various fixes offer here such as trying to adjust the latch, making sure the trim between the windows is secure, tightening the rubber door stops, etc. But nothing worked.

I may have found the source.

The trim that runs vertical along the edges of the windshield is not secure at the top corner. (see the attached photos) You can easily pull it out with a finger. So, I covered the area with a piece of duct tape, sealing the piece to the windshield. On my next trip at highway speeds, I didn't notice the noise anymore. Yesterday, I removed the tape and took another trip. The wind noise was again very noticeable.

I'm going to try taping it down again to see if I get the same results. Maybe this will work for others.

I have the same issue with mine. Took it to the dealer and they checked the door and window seals and said there are no problems with the rubber seals. Not sure what the fix is, if there is any.

My number one *** irk *** is the cheap piece of hard plastic that surrounds the gearshift. Mine makes a rattling noise until I press my finger down on it...then it stops, ugh! It must be loose and vibrating against something. Very annoying. Will bring it to the attention of the service advisor the next time I take it in.

Brought mine (2018 RTL-E) today and they are going to replace the windshield clips and the window gasket. I'll give them credit they went out and drove it about 10 miles to investigate the issue.
This has to be a tough one to diagnose.

Update: Dealer replaced the window gasket (driver side) and the clips on the windshield and it appears as though that solved the problem. They said there was a gap in the window gasket.

Had very loud wind noise on passenger side.
Took it to the dealer and they said, yep seen this before and said they would schedule the window guy.
Don't know what they did but, fixed it 100%

Spreen Honda SoCAl very happy with their service to date.
Hey mthatdan, Were there any parts listed on your invoice? Any description of work performed, or comments by the window guy?

I have the exact issue with my 2018 RTL-T. I have an appointment this Friday to have this and a few other issues looked at. Please get back to the group with what is done to correct the drivers side wind noise.

Thank, Kelly

I've got this going on with my 19 RTL-E as well. It has definitely gotten worse over time, as I did not notice it when I first purchased.

I've tried pressing on the windows and pulling the door closer and whatnot and can't seem to change the sound (hard to do too much while driving at highway speeds) but it sounds as if the door is not closed tightly (yet it is).

Recently though, around the same time I started noticing the wind noise, the driver door sounds "odd" when it's closed. It's hard to explain, but it has a bit of a "twang" to it that no other door has. Makes me suspect that maybe I'm hearing a metal vibration from the door impact.

If I find out more, I'll report back. Going to check out the door jamb stuff and trim piece from this thread tonight and see if I can identify anything.

Can confirm that this has been happening with my 2017 RTL-T. I also drive another RTL-T and it had the same issue. I love the truck overall but its quite annoying. I'm going to see what I can do about it. Thanks for all the advice, this forum is great.

Bumping this older thread to see if anyone has a solution?

I had a long drive across New Mexico this weekend traveling thru very strong crosswinds at highway speeds. It sounded like the drivers side window was cracked open, very loud and consistent.

Interestingly traveling the opposite direction the noise was coming from the passenger side window.

Crosswind direction: right to left, sound from driver side window.
Crosswind direction: left to right, sound from passenger side window.

It's almost like the downwind section of the cab is causing a low pressure area and perhaps pulling on the glass causing a gap?

These were sustained winds with gusts in the 50mph+ range. Numerous semi trucks were blown off the roadway.

Vehicle is an '18 RTL-E.
