Do any of you treat the black plastic lower band, mud flaps and similar items? If so, what do you use?

Another 303 user.I wipe the plastics with 303 (marine grade.) love how things glide across the composite truck bed after a fresh wipe.
A friend swears by some leather conditioner from his Lexus dealership. Hey he gave me a free bottle so I'm using it. Otherwise since nowadays most of it is pleather I was going to use 303 as well.
I am aware of that product and it looks to be pretty good stuff. As you mentioned, it is expensive. Follow the directions and you will be okay. I applied a similar product and did not wipe off the residue (because it was sticky) before it dried. The coating ended up being too thick and caused scaling a few months down the road.My buddy swears by this stuff not cheap though

Worth looking into
For its first year, it stayed under a carport at night and out in an open parking lot during the day. For its second year, it stayed outside all the time. For the remaining two years, it stayed in a garage at night and outside during the day. Basically, it was in the sun most of the time. I never put anything on the plastics. The vehicle was hand washed using Turtle Wax Zip Wax Car Wash and city water. The black paint on the composite bed panels faded to gray and the headlights were beginning to cloud ever so slightly, but the black plastic trim still looked new.@zroger73, did you park your 4 year (long term) RL in the garage? I keep mine outside most of the time and the trim looks weathered.
