Hey to all...been awhile since I was logged in...orig purchased a 17 Type-2...liked it so much, just purchased a 2020 w/leather...want to cover the front buckets w/o breaking the bank...I saw the thread about the high-end leather covers...too pricey for me...wondering if anyone else has a recommendation for a nice pair of covers...had a pair of the Car & Driver neoprene...they were "OK" but pretty loose fit...thought there might be a better alternative out there
Thanks for the help

I have Coverking covers, purchased from CarID for $135 shipped. They install in 10 mins and look great.

They are the "neosupreme" ones (a lightweight neoprene-style fabric). They are custom-designed and are stretchy, so fit tight.

I've got the same ones, they're great. Ordered a set for the wife's car and they were not. Been going back and forth with CarID for over a month now trying to get a refund, the customer service is horrible.

Will the thickness of those covers insulate me from my heated seats?
I have the same coverking covers like the above picture, yes it does slow down the heat transferred from the seat but eventually it will reach the normal temperature. But I do notice that because of the "neosupreme" fabric your seat won't feel as cold as bare leather without the heater on.

I've had no bunching/movement. The fit is tight and when installing it there is sufficient material to tuck between the seat base and the seat upright, so that helps lock it in place. I've had them installed about 5 months and not needed to adjust them once. Coverking also provide a 'rubbery' sheet with the set, which you lay on the seat base before fitting the seat covers - I imagine that also helps prevent it sliding.

Thanks for the reply SeattleR. I just made the purchase from AutoAnything and with a 20% off Fall coupon they came out to $124 bucks. I have to wait until the second week in November to get them - but picked up my car 1 month ago and have 42 miles on it.

P.S - the dealer is 38 miles away :)

Hey SeattleR and DBLXX, I take it those are the light gray option and not the darker charcoal gray from CoverKing? Also, it looks like you both have the gray interior? If so, that looks like a great match. Thanks

Yup, light grey. Honestly - black or silver interior - these would look amazing. It’s all about the fit and finish and for me, with my OCD - the fact they are “skin tight” unless you told someone - they’d think they were OEM.

I agree with DBLXX - they do look OEM and you wouldn't really realize these were seat covers unless you look closely. Certainly much nicer than seat covers used to be.

I only bought the front covers as I always keep my rear seat in the upright position.

Same here, front only. I don't keep my seats in the up position but don't often if ever have anyone in the rear. But... if the rear fit as well as the front... I am sure I'll be getting them.

I am NOT a fan of seat covers because they ALWAYS fit terribly and are a MAJOR PITA to put on...

These - not so much. Best I've ever had.
