I bought a new 2020 Ridgeline RTL last week. In my previous Ridgeline, I kept my wallet inside the center console. But this time, when I put my wallet inside on the tray and then slid the door shut, the wallet apparently jammed up against the sliding door and now I can't get it out. I tried to fit my hand inside, but it will only open about 3 inches. Any suggestions about un-jamming the sliding door? Is there another way to open the center console?

Consider yourself lucky! 3 inches is a lot of room to use some type of plastic/metal rod to un jam it.

When my kids iPad was jammed in there only beatings on the side/top worked for me.

Their is other post of people disassembling it from the outside.

If all else fails, remove the center console from the truck and dislodge the wallet.
I had this happen to me back in 2010, and since then my wallet goes on the door pocket or in the glove. It was a nightmare and brought out many unpleasantries.

I got a USB cable stuck in the latch on mine which involved a disassembly of the center console. The parts dept at my dealership gave me an exploded diagram so I knew where to start. I did a write up on it as well. If you don't disassemble it, then I would try someone with small hands/arms to reach in and see if they can't snag that wallet. Another idea is to see if you can work a wide plastic putty knife between the top of the wallet and the underside of the cover. Press it down enough and hopefully it slides open.

Also if you have a 3" opening , get that cell phone camera in there and take a few photos to see what you are up against
