Hello.
I have a 2019 RTL-E and it is around 53k miles.
This morning, for the first time, as I am driving to work, I feel this jerk and stutter happening just about the point the truck wants to shift to 2nd gear. I have a lot of side roads to follow for the first mile, so I cannot go too fast. I am right around this point throughout. Meaning, I feel this stutter almost each time I gave it a bit of gas.
When I got to a stop light, I put the truck in park and turned it off, then on and the problem hasn't re-occurred.
So could it be a bug that restarting the truck solved? Or putting into park solved it?
I am a bit worried because I am close to the 60k PT warranty, and now the truck isn't doing it so I will probably get the "we don't detect a problem". I can take it in just to document it, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. If it is a computer type issue, would that be covered under the PT warranty? Meaning, if there is nothing physically wrong with the transmission itslef....
No warning lights, etc....just a jerk (kind of like running out of gas). I see there were TSB for 2017 models, but nothing for 2019. Maybe the same thing? Of course, now is not a good time to be without a truck, and scheduling service visits..
Thanks.
