Hey guys,
Bought my Odyssey back in December 2019, traded in my 2014 Tesla Model S since we had 2 kids and 3 adults, unfortunately there was no space in Tesla for all of us and gear... so we got Odyssey
First big mod I did was full air suspension and 20 inch wheels

But after about 8 months on air, endless suspension tweaks, 3 sets of wheels... I decided to go with different route
Considering Pilot, Ridgeline and Odyssey kinda share parts and base I reached out to Traxda USA if they could get me a lift kit and coincidentally they released their 2 inch and 3 inch lift kits just few days later
So I grabbed 2 inch lift kit and removed air suspension
while kit was getting installed I grabbed a set of 2021 Ridgeline Sport wheels while I was looking for HPD wheels

Also got my Ridgeline No-Lo design ditch light brackets and Diode Dynamics SS3 spot lights

And here is the result as of today
I got HPD wheels with 245/60 R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires
2 inch Traxda USA lift kit
No-Lo Design ditch light brackets
Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights and ditch lights

now waiting for No-Lo Design skid plate and hoping it will fit :D
What do you guys think? What else should I add?
Planning on roof cargo basket, but can't find slim one :(
Also planning on Diode Dynamic LED bar and side lights once discount season kicks in :)
Any other suggestion what to add? Obviously it is just a FWD wagon, but trying to stand out and be different :D

That is awesome, @Esen ! Thanks for sharing

How about a bull bar or brush bar for the front? 🤘💪
I thought about JSport front safari bumper, but don't see a reason to spend $900 on that :D

I like the license plate, but that's all. :)
Good to know :)

If Odyssey only had AWD - can you imagine the vanlife/overlanding platform ;)
ikr? It would be #1 van for campers

Get it resprayed in that primer gray that’s everywhere…
if it is everywhere, why should I do it lol?

The point of this build is to be different from endless minivans on the road. I hope I didn't upset anyone here :)

I personally think it looks good, @Esen. It looks like a "dadwagon" instead of a "mamamobile."

We call our 2012 Odyssey the "Hotyssey". It has been a superstar family hauler, but it is definitely a vanilla, no-nonsense vehicle that isn't visually appetizing. I have to admit, though, that your mods truly morph your machine into a "Hotyssey". Feel free to steal that nickname for your sweet ride!

The Van look better (in my opinion)with the Ridgeline Sport wheels more than the HPD wheels but overall Looks good and different !
yeah, I still have those wheels, I might switch if I get tired of my current setup :)

i've been following these minivan builds and these Toyota Sienna builds are quite amazing. Sell the Odyssey and trade for a Sienna awd?
I almost did, but nothing to buy right now, everything is overpriced, local Toyota adds $10k over the sticker

I like the looks but my personal experience with fixing stuff that ain’t broke has not turned out well.
I feel bad for you :(

hehe thanks, my van actually doesn't have a name other than Odyssey lol
