Is this a good deal? This is what auto nation wants from me . I went to Rickcase Honda they wants 3k markup.

It's okay, but I would tell them to take off the "appearance protection package" and the "dent protection." That is a high dealer services fee. Some dealers offer no "dealer handling." Good luck with your purchase. That is a nice looking Ridgeline.

They said the dent and appearance package is not an option to remove it . So this is the final price gonna make this deal on Monday morning. I trade in my 2021 Maserati levante S I bought 7 months ago for 86k Only 3500 miles on it . On KBB quote it private sell 75800 ,trade in value is 72k so they offer me 69500

You are definitely making a major move from the Maserati. Thank for sharing the deal, and get us some more photos of that new Ridgeline.

Get the Protection Packages and the Wheel Locks removed. You can get the same exact wheel locks for under $50. Then it's not a bad deal considering.

@Yifa, it all depends how much you want to push to get those "protection packages" removed. The dealer might acquiesce to your demands, if they feel you will walk away, but in this climate of high demand and short supply, they will probably won't take it off. Another buyer will show up in a couple of days. At least you get something for your money (dent and paint protection) and it's not just a straight up dealer mark-up.

Have you ever thought of using a broker to sell your Maserati, surely they could get you more than the $3K, you save on taxes?

someone wants to buy it from me for 74k cash but I don’t wanna deal cash, second thought the dealer offer me 69500 with 3k taxes saving is not too bad. I think got ripped off by the protection plan and dealer fee .

I lost a bit trading in my 21 Mazda CX-9 GT for my 22 RL BE. I traded in my 20 Tundra Platinum when I moved back to the city last summer and at the time, the CX-9 seemed like the perfect vehicle for my needs. It didn't take long to want another truck, just didn't need a full size. I paid cash for my CX-9 so I lost 8k or so but I got what I really wanted.
I've been moving into my house this past month and have used the RL a lot for tasks that a crossover wouldn't be able to handle.
Additionally, I will be going to my vacation property in NW Wyoming in a few weeks and will be doing a lot of exterior work on the house. The RL will get a lot of use this summer. I cannot wait to take it on a road as the first 1000 miles have been primarily moving our stuff a couple of miles.
