My new to me 2017 Ridgeline Black Edition currently has winter tires on the factory 18s. I'm looking for another set of wheels and tires.
Which other Honda Acura rims are a direct fit for a 2017 Ridgeline? Also is it correct 16" rims and tires will not fit?

Thanks

Your rims are 18 inch x 7.5 inch. The bolt pattern is 5x120mm. You will need to find the same size rim and pattern. The 120 measurement is taken from the center of one lug to the the third lug, skip a lug when measuring. Your RL is designed for 18 inch not 16 inch. The small size could cause damage to the drive system and change your speedomete readings.

17's is as small as you can go. I run 235/70r17 for the winter

The reasons you state are completely incorrect. Wheel size and tire circumference are completely different things.

OP, If you could find 16" wheels that were the correct hub bore, bolt pattern, and acceptable offset, they still wouldn't fit over the calipers. Smallest you can go is 17", just pay attention to the specs.

I'm running on CTR wheels on 245/50/20 tires

Honda/Acuras with wheels that will fit are - Other Ridgelines, Pilots, Odysseys and Passports. The CTR wheels fit but their load rating is lower than recommended for the Ridgeline. Newer Acura MDX will also fit. I believe those may be all that have the 5x120 bolt pattern.

I’m currently trying out a used set of wheels from a 2021 Honda Passport EX-L. 20-inch Split-Spoke Pewter Gray Alloy Wheels (20x8, 5x120) with what is left of the stock Continental Crosscontact tires P245/50R20. Re-used my stock lugs with this setup.

Gas mileage didn’t drop as badly as expected (maybe only 1-2MPG). I like the look and the tire size, but debating what new tires I’ll throw on next.

@Discount Tire can help you buy some price conscious wheels and tires for your G2. If you live in a place that sees a lot of snow or have tons of potholes, stick with something no larger than 19" wheels to get enough sidewall height, that would help those accidental drops into a pothole.

I am looking at purchasing some wheels from a 2023 Honda Pilot EX-L model. I am wondering if they will fit my 2022 Ridgeline if the offset is 50? Will the Pilot rims make contact with the break caliper? They are still 18" wheels with the same size tires as I have right now. I am still trying to verify the offset of these particular Pilot wheels.

Offset of those wheels is stamped on the inside of the wheel. A google search for "2023 Honda Pilot Wheel offset" will answer your question. And yes, these wheels will fit your Ridgeline.

Google was not much help, but the seller did provide photos and the offset is indeed 50. He said the rim rubbed a bit (as you can see in photo) on his Odyssey, so he could not use these wheels on it. Thank you for your input.

@kcdirtbro54 is right, the tires are too small. - it is about an inch too small.

On the offset side, higher the number, the closer the wheel center is to the hub face. So if the stock offset was +45mm and the replacement wheel is +60mm, there is a possibility that the spokes may contact the calipers. In the case of your G2, you are +55mm and thus going to a +50mm, will push out the wheel center - meaning you will have better clearance.

Also, Odysseys have a different LCA design that is not happy with high offset wheels.

Early G2 was 55mm offset, later G2.5 switched to 45mm offset for a beefier look. There were no changes to the suspension wrt wheel clearance going from G2 to G2.5. The 50mm will be just fine.

Any wheel diameter from 17" to 22+" should be fine as long as you fit the appropriate tire size.

22 Ridge is +45 and those are +50. Looks like the tires are a bit small if I'm reading the size right. 225/50/18? The wheel shouldn't be a problem on yours though.
I am buying the wheels for the RL, but the tires (225/60/18) will be going on our 2023 Sportage which currently has 235/60/18 tires. The Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady are a better quality tire than what comes on the Sportage. We had them on our Outback and they worked great.

I changed out my original 2023 Ridgeline wheels for the 2024 Honda Pilot wheels a few months ago (6/24). The front brake calipers WILL hit the Pilot EX-L wheels. I had to buy 5mm spacers for the front only. The back has plenty of clearance.
