Installed a couple mods over the last couple weeks:

  • HPD Lower Door Trim
  • Tuwa Pro Moab Bed Rack (and unistrut channel bed rails)

Adding the lower door trims seems to hit the right amount of a rugged look for me along with the HPD mudflaps I already installed - so definitely not feeling like the fenders are necessary anymore.

Since I did the research beforehand, installing the Tuwa Pro rack was pretty straight forward. Picked up the unistrut channel bed rails and spring nuts ahead of time and was able to install directly after drilling a hole in the unistrut to accommodate the middle bolt along the inside of the truck bed. I didn't like the look of the 'chase' side panels, so also picked up Tuwa Pro's 4CX side bars to use instead. Overall, seems really sturdy but will be keeping an eye on things in the short term.

Nice! Was the door trim easy to install? Worth the 350$

Yeah it's pretty plug and play. Though I snapped a couple of the clips when pulling off the old trim so had to run to the dealership to grab replacements. There are also replacement clips on Amazon but I figured the dealer was the best option if I wanted them same-day.

Installed the main part of my adventure rig setup today:

  • Thule Tepui Ayer 2 Rooftop Tent
  • Thule Overcast Awning (6.5ft)

Fortunately, install was pretty straightforward onto my bed rack and everything seems super sturdy. Hoping to find time to test out the setup very soon.

Nearly every manufacturer now embosses on the tailgate, were the black letters added by you or did it come that way? Either way I like them. Nice looking truck!
Thanks!

It came with the black letters, but I was planning on adding them anyways. Wasn't a fan of the plain embossing with white. If I had a darker color like grey or red, I'd probably prefer the tailgate without the black lettering.

Do you think that the trunk dividers would fit with the trunk tray? Nice looking truck with exception of the tail gate billboard. (I could live with it was my truck)
I haven't seen the dividers in person, but the tray does appear to block a small portion of the divider rail at the bottom. It would depend on if the dividers needed the whole rail or if they're designed to lock into place at the bottom or not.

Thanks. Hope you enjoy your Ridgeline as much as I do mine.

Went on a roadtrip with the Ridgeline for the first time last weekend to visit some family. Even got to trial out my camping set up for a night too. Overall was a comfortable experience. Just need to pick up some more camping-specific supplies like lanterns/string lights, a mini generator, and a foldable table to make the experience even better over a longer time period. One positive is that it only takes roughly 15 mins to unpack and pack up the tent/awning.

One other thing I'm thinking of adding to the bed rack is either a couple water rotopax canisters or a portable shower canister with a mini hose. Def felt like I could have used it to clean off some mud from hands/shoes/etc.

Will these work with the step bars already installed?
