A neighbor asked for a battery jump today. When I opened my '23 Ridgeline hood, I saw the battery is covered by the air intake, and could only be accessed if the part was first removed. That seems crazy! Disappointing, actually!!
Last use for my jump box was on some guy's motorcycle out of juice in an iHop parking lot; fella had his young son with him too. I had watched him try to push start the big bike 15 times until he was sitting on the curb out of breath. I went over with the jump pack and his scooter fired right up and he was off and very grateful...
I ALWAYS have one in my 'beater' car that I park at the airport parking lots for a week or more sometimes,
Nothing worse than returning from a trip to find out your ride home doesn't have enough electrons.. Ugh!
Another Lithium jump-pack fan here. I carry them in our Outback, CRV, and Ridgeline, and a smaller one on my motorcycle. I've rescued a bunch of folks with them, and myself a couple of times, too. I set a reminder in my phone to check/top-up the charge on them every 3 months.
