It really depends on the tire. An aggressive AT model will rub while a less aggressive one will not. I put 265 HTs on mine and -0- rub.

 

do you have a lift? if so what? I am kinda scared to do 265

 

1.5" Traxxx in the front...I think a lift actually makes tire clearance worse with the wheel well shape on the RL.

all is well. Got over 15,000 miles and rotated around 8k. About die again but damn cold right now.
No regrets. I drove one without a lift and it brake dived compared to having it lifted/leveled out.

I just put a Jsport 1.5 inch lift on my 2021 Honda Ridgeline. I also went to a 265/60/18 cooper discover AT3. Overall love the ride and look of the finished product.
As you can see from the pictures I gained 1.5 inches in the rear and 2 inches in the front.

Since you have had this set up for a while now have you noticed any tire rub? And how does the ride compare to before?

What does offset look like with the new tires + lift? Is it still too inset -- do you need spacers to push the tires out so they're more flush?

 

For my 2021 I think it looks great without any spacers. You also may get more rubbing with spacers from what I've read.

 

I thought about removing the front air dam also.

 

Super easy to do and really changes the look. I kept it just in case I ever decide to put it back on but don't think I will. Like I said MPG's are good without it.

 

Just for reference, I parked next to an F-150 with the FX4 offroad package and my truck was the same height all around. I've also parked next to a Tacoma with the TRD Offroad package, and my truck made the Tacoma look small. I've recently taken my truck on some snowy washboard roads and it handled like a dream. The lift doesn't change the driving performance at all; if anything, I think it drives better and I love the additional height.

 

After the lift and larger tires the front wheel well measures 35" and the back is at ~36".

 

I just put on Kumho Road Venture AT52 265 60 1 8 with a Truxx 1.5 inch level kit with no rub . Rides smooth and looks great!! So far happy with the look and ride. Reviews were good and not overly aggressive. Great tire for the price

 

Did lifting it adversely affect handling or ride?

 

Does the 1.5" kit level it out? Looks like it did. Id like to do the same but am getting research fatigue.

 

When I only had a 1.5" lift on the front it was level...

 

not really towing anything other than my bike, leaves, etc. Maybe all I need is the 1.5" leveling kit with some larger tires.
