Trying to prevent scuffs to the painted sills.
Are Honda's door sill protectors any good or is there a better aftermarket version?

For fairly cheap, I got some color similar stick on protectors that are working great.

I have them, when ordered I thought they'd be like the ones I have for my Jeep Wrangler (a molded thermoplastic product that uses double sided auto tape to install). Honda sill protectors are a thinner film like material and applied like window tint film. I was a little skeptical at first but they were easy enough to put on (start with a back door one since the first on is a bit of a learning curve, easy but you learn a few tricks). Have to say they have held up and do the job, also look good.

There are a bunch on Amazon (I used some) and they worked just fine; placement is important however.

I bought a roll of clear paint protection film from Amazon and cut my own. Pretty easy to install.

I followed the lead of some of the other posts and used Xpel armor to protect the door sills. It's a nice inexpensive option and was quick and easy. The Xpel stretches enough to wok on the curves of the sill. I think it looks ok and adds a lot of protection for that exposed paint. Thank you...

Those are the fancy lighted ones, all I have is the is the PVC thermoplastic. These look great - may have to see what's involved in installation and invest in a set.
