Just an update on my 3D max front floor mats. Ordered mid October and just received this update. Obviously must be in high demand and with the pandemic issues like everything is affected.

Best floor mats I’ve ever owned. Perfect fit and hold.

Guess everyone has different experiences with this brand. I did NOT like mine. To flat so any snow brought in melts then makes a NICE ice skating rink once it freezes over night. I'd much rather have a winter mat with grooves/ridges of some sort. Maybe the users above don't have winter??? Yes my vehicle sits outside 24/7/365. My GT gets the garage space 100%.

Then again maybe mine were't 3D version???

For sure we have winter, I just shake them out when I get snow in the truck, and when I get water (melted snow) I lift them out and dump the water. I'm not sure why you would leave water in the truck to melt and freeze and repeat.

Not judging, or picking a fight, but the whole point of an all weather mat is so you can remove the mat with the crap in it, as opposed to rugs that soak up nastiness, not leave it in the vehicle - at least that is my take on it.

It sounds like you have a different mat. If you had the 3Ds you would know (for starters, they have a "3D" logo and they are not smooth).

Mine looked EXACTLY like this. Best was when the dealer detailed the car, A 2014 Volvo, and COVERED them with amour all or equal. Was just like being on ice. Never again for me.

This is what I have now. Only had truck 3 months so no idea if they will be OK in winter. Basing my experience on previous car.

That makes more sense - you have never had 3Ds for your Ridgeline!

And you didn't like them on your Volvo because you let someone apply an unknown substance to them that made them slippy?

I think the moral of that story is, don't let someone apply unknown substances to them. Just wash them if they get dirty and job done! And be careful with your new ones - they look far slippier than the 3Ds :)

Looking at the 3D Maxprider Kagu floor mats for my 2022 RTL-E. Will the 2021 Maxprider's fit the 2022 Ridgeline? Everything online (Part Number L1HD08301509) says 2021 only and will not fit the 2022 RL. Just curious if there is a big difference between the 21 and 22 RL. If they are basically the same then the 21 mat version should fit my 22 RTL-E. Thanks for your time.
