has anyone test drove the new 2024 black ed and trailsport back to back?
wondering if the ‘off-road tuned suspension” and AT tires effect the ride or handling.
Dealer here only has trailsports right now so I can’t compare them.

Has anyone evaluated the new “trail mode” in the Trailsport? For those of us wishfully contemplating buying Trailsport parts to retrofit on their non-Trailsport trim levels, that aspect probably represents the hardest aspect. New ECU (or at least firmware - which may only be available by buying a RL Trailsport ECU), possibly console display software, error codes may show if something is overlooked, etc. I am eying the longer springs etc. as a more holistic approach to lifting vs. spacer-based kits, but the trail mode MAY have more real-world value. Also, are the cooled seats “plug-and-play“ retrofittable vs. the RTL-E heated seats? or are there wiring / console changes also needed. I am loath to trade in my practically new 2023 RTL-E, but may need to…

almost did deed tonight need to think a bit…lol
they offering me 12k less then i paid in 2019 so it tough decision.
still bout 30k + passport tax in for same power train.
that is also why i like it, the j35 is proven and the 10
speed may not be as good as we thought.
might be my last ice car so maybe its time.

Late to the thread but I recently traded my 21 Sport for a 24 Trailsport. I didn't find any Sports in the Vancouver area or I would have bought that. The handling on the Trailsport is definetly loose'r than the my 3 year old Sport. I suspect the tires (Road vs AT) but could be the "tuned" Trailsport suspension.
