Looking for the best pads and rotors that most go with hear on the forum. Just doing the front axle for this time around. I'm at 75k, so the rear is still fine. Thanks for the help on this one...
Fronts get the most workout but vehicles often have compensation or in some cases over compensation to get them to wear evenly. Out Subaru eats rears before fronts. I have found our RL to be even all around. Other than resurfacing rotors on the front due to deposits (we did measure run-out which was fine), I am still on all OEM pads at nearly 190k miles on my 2017. We did swap out front rotors with OEM (which still have enough thickness to resurface) once because I was time strapped and turn around wasn't fast enough at the auto store for resurfacing.I really appreciate all the feedback. I have read on other posts the the rear brakes go quicker than the fronts. I find that pretty odd. Most of your braking is in the front...right?
