He didn’t specify but assume it has to do with the housing that the mirror sits in. They pressed on the mirrors like I did and no vibration again but assume it will return in a week or so like last time. Will ply this game until the replacement parts come in.
My 2021 Odyssey has been doing the same thing on the driver's side. I had the mirror replaced and it is still doing it. Now they had the mirror replaced again and I waited a month to get it...back order. I literally had to fight for it because the manager of the service side it was normal to have vibrations?????? They are full of it. I was told they were replacing the housing and now I got the mirror again....

I think they just got a bad batch of mirrors from their supplier.

The mirror glass was probably secured to the plastic base with a bad or outdated adhesive/epoxy and it affected a certain number of mirrors in that production batch. They were probably installed on new vehicles and some probably went into the parts supply chain.

Wait a few months for that inventory to be purged and get another warranty replacement.

I have a 2020 CRV Hybrid and noticed this issue with the driver side mirror vibrating at highway speeds during our first road trip agree that it is a bothersome distraction and can be a safety issue, especially at night with headlights from different cars blurring together. I have searched for the issue before but haven't found other CRV owners with it yet (maybe they don't drive fast enough =p), but the issue is exactly as you all describe. I'll definitely be raising this issue with the dealership and reference this thread for back up. Thanks!
I have a 2020 CRV bought in Jan, 2021. I have the same issue with my driver side mirror vibrating on idle, driving at any speed, and on bumpy roads. It's noticeable, and the images do get a little fuzzy. I took it in to the dealers and they gave bs excuses that it was normal. I feet left out with supposedly having warranty by Honda right now. I took it to two different dealers and they still wouldn't want to replace my driver side mirror. I am just waiting for it to get worse to prove my point and have a manager examine it instead of the advisors/techs before 3 years/36k is up. They also added micro reflective scratches onto my mirror by cleaning it after messing with it, with a microfiber cloth (dry). Unless, you are sure that you can get it replaced do so or else dealers will make it worse by fiddling with your mirror. I also have driver seatbelt fraying on some parts of the driver seatbelt (really bad quality nowadays with Honda).... that is lifetime warranty if you ask. I will use it until it gets too much fraying and I will bring it in. I also have other minor issues. I came from owning Toyotas. This isn't the best experience for me right now with Honda. I regret owning a Honda as I am writing this and spending time finding forums to rant. Sorry in advance! These cars aren't cheap, I expect some quality assurance.

My 2019 Rigeline RTLE driver side mirror automatic backing function only sporadically returned to driving position several months ago - apparently due to adhesive issue. After dealer diagnosis and replacement, the mirror was warped, like a fun house (but without the fun). Two more dealer replacements later - same problem and parts on back order. I understand parts delays, but will Honda honor warranty period if this delay continues?

Been having ongoing left side mirror issue since I bought my 20 Colorado LT in November 2020. Since January 2021 the dealer has replaced the mirror, the actuator, the house assembly (ordered from China & installed 4 months later), dealership stated they submitted a request to GM engineers for design flaw, just dropped it off again for the 5th try to fix the left mirror as a drivability issue which I stated as a safety concern to cause an accident. I hope the dealership reads about the 4 fingers trick because that's the only thing not done -

... Got the truck back from dealership and service technician said that the service manager said the engineers at GM said there was no solution. I asked to see the email from GM and was told that the email was from a few months ago and he couldn't retrieve it. Should I go to his superiors?

This is a Honda Ridgeline forum, so you might have better luck over in a Chevrolet Colorado forum.

What type of problem are you having with the mirror? After a cursory search online, there seems to be a few different issues with the mirrors on the Chevrolet Colorado.

Here's my story - sounds similar to yours. :/

2021 RTL here. I had the vibrating driver side mirror issue at highway speeds. Finally took it to the dealer after several months, who replaced it within an hour. It fixed the vibration issue, but I noticed on my way home that the new mirror had a slight "fun house mirror" effect. I brought it back a couple days later and was told the tech pulled it out and reinstalled it, but that didn't do anything at all. I was told I would just have to get used to it. I complained in Honda's email feedback form and the dealer service manager called to say he wanted to try a new mirror. After a few weeks I found the time to go in and the third mirror has the same distorted reflection, which is noticeable mainly when objects in the reflection are moving (so basically anytime I'm driving). It's moderately distracting and I'm not sure I'm glad I took it in to the dealer at all. The vibration on the highway was pretty terrible, a definite safety issue. The new one is probably safer, but annoying a greater percentage of the time I'm driving.

Anyone else have this issue with replacement mirrors from the dealer?

@Tom1189, now you have me second guessing my recent decision to take my Ridgeline to the Honda dealer for the mirror replacement.

I wonder if you could purchase and install your own aftermarket mirror (maybe like Burco Part #5672H ?) and then get reimbursed by Honda... That one on O'Reilly's website says it's not heated, but the part number ends in H, so not 100% sure whether that one would work for the RTL.

So I've had my 2021 RTL for a few weeks now and I have noticed the left mirror vibrates at highway speeds (60+), enough to make objects quite blurry. Best I can tell the housing itself isnt moving, just the mirror. The right side seems pretty solid. Such a minor issue but also rather annoying. Anyone have this issue or know a simple solution. I hate to take it back to the dealership for such a minor issue but it's brand new... Maybe something just needs tightening ??
Mine too now.

Funny you say that. When this topic first came up, I noticed mine was a bit blurry. (I didn't notice it before that.) Now it's not blurry at all. (I probably just jinxed it.)
I live in Colorado, so maybe colder weather makes it shake more.
