Someone correct me if I'm wrong... but as an earlier post states, the black dot area is a safe region.

The Honda sensing doesn't extend to that area. Light dimmers and mirror dimming don't use that area because it depends on the most obvious factor... light. If you look at the sensor for the system, they fan the mirror mount down-and-out. And the front side sensor obviously doesn't note what's in the cabin.

So, up in the corner, left side in the black dotted area. Right? That is where I had my EZ-Pass and it worked fine, and I have the old large square EZ-Pass. I didn't rely on it so much in my area, so I utilized that spot for my Dashcam instead now. But the handful of times I've used the EZ-Pass it worked there and didn't fail. And didn't note any misbehavior with Honda's stuff. This "should" be true with Canada's rain sensing too... since rain sensing cannot work with Black Dots in the mix.

I can't see where that might be improper.
