To me the minimal amount that gets in there is a non issue. If you put stuff in the middle of the bed it never gets wet. The OEM leaks at the mid panel break along the edges and as mentioned only in the outer groove. I think the OEM is great. I have carried many items on top of the cover. It is really strong and I think it can hold 150-200 pounds or something. Really versatile and practical and you get the Honda warranty.
