Does anyone know how to actually change out this "stuck" switch. Honda knows it is a warranty issue, but I live to far away to drive 3 hours one way for a 15 minute fix.
So looking for how to do it myself. I was sent the switch. This is the one that changes to snow mode, sand, etc. I have the console off, just need to know what to disconnect and how without breaking anything.

What is the model year of your RL? Shift lever or buttons? See the video below for the button shifter removal. (Removal starts at ~ 1 min 30 secs.)

Please do NOT use WD-40 as it melts certain plastics and is a water displacer - not a lubricant or contact cleaner. It's also a bad idea to use on electrical contacts as it is flammable and the residue tend to attract dust.

Note that WD-40 does make contact cleaner as a separate product.
