This is a frequently discussed topic with too many posts to remember. I did it by removing the bumper at first for a thorough and complete job.

Now I spot spray to maintain its "blackness" w/o the bumper removal part.

 

The hood stripe is actually a heavy duty Semi Flat Vinyl, that they use on tractor trailers or large vehicles.

 

That is a really nice "change"! I like the look!
