Hi all, A new to me 2023 RTL. When reading in the manual how to hook up an IPOD, thumb drive I would get a No Device connected message. So doing some investigative work, it turns out I have no power in the console. 12v nothing. USB nothing. 1/8" plug nada. No lights in cup holder or console. All the fuses checked out good both in the cab and under hood. 12v and USB work fine outside the console.

So my guess is there is/are plugs that are not connected. How much of the console needs to disassemble to get to the plugs? Point me to any how to's please.

Strange that these would be undone. Although the door lock was loose and worked its way apart. This truck had never left the dealer's lot. Not worth driving the 200mi. round trip just for this.

Yes it is. But if it’s something simple stupid I’d just rather do it myself than spend a day having them take care of it.

Its not tough at all. Do a search for installing idle Stopper or replacing charger. You start it all by lifting the front rubber pad in front of the shifter and pop that out.

I was thinking of the guy that snapped something and regretted going in there to install his idle stopper. It cost him $750.

Got it done. Both were unplugged. Found a YOUTUBE video to remove the top of the console. Simple stupid.
