New to the forum and have been reading a lot here lately. I’ve been wanting to purchase a Ridgeline for many years and am now looking to buy a used 1st gen. Most of the market I’m finding is around $20k for 2011-2013 with around 100-120k miles. These are cool trucks and I know have the potential to go for a while after that but reading about the list of repairs that needs to happen +\- frame rust repair has me second guessing the value for this price. Currently looking at a 2013 sport with 108k miles for $20k from a Honda dealer. What repairs/maintenance should I make sure have been done before picking up this truck? Anyone have an idea of cost of ownership over the next few years of a truck like this?
I’ve also seen some Pilots with similar age and miles for about 3-5k cheaper. I’m open to that but would really like a Ridgeline. I have a great vehicle currently so am in no rush so want to make sure I’m getting a good value when I do pick up a new vehicle.
