Hey Guys - searched but didn't find much (aside from checking fuses) - here's my situation :
I left my ridgeline parked in the shade up in the mountains (Vail, CO) for two days, and when I was headed home, it wouldn't start. When I tried to crank, the starter just clicked several times, and the gauges went all over the place.
After getting a jump start from a buddy (proper order), I noticed several malfunctions (none of these work now) :
Alarm (FOB)
Door Locks (FOB/Door button)
In-bed Trunk Lock
Intermittent & Mist Windshield Wipers (LO/HI work)
Mist Button
Parking Lights
Turn Signals
High Beams
Cargo Lights
Interior Light Dimming Switch (Dash lights always on brightest setting)
I checked continuity on all fuses in the engine bay (both locations) as well as below the dash near the driver kick panel, and none were blown (I know some mentioned #7/#32 inside, and #22 in the primary engine bay).
I pulled DTC codes from my OBD-II scanner, and it showed the following as pending (my MIL lamp doesn't flash) :
P0055 HO2S Heater Resistance
C1555
C1555
I google'd around C1555 and it seems like Hondas throw this code w/ the reader I'm using.
I got the service manual, but it doesn't seem like one particular location sticks out. I went to a dealer and they said it would be $110/hr for just diagnosis (I have a 2010 w/ 40.1k so they denied the warranty), so I'd like to avoid that route. I also have a bunch of mods (LEDs/Viper 5901) which they'd probably say is a cause.
I talked to another dealer, and he mentioned pulling off the cables from the battery, then shorting them for ~30 sec for what he called a "master reset", but that didn't do anything.
Anyone have any ideas? A co-worker mentioned that there could be a grounding wire that got burnt up, acting like a fuse, but I didn't see anything that stuck out in the engine bay.
