I've been an off and on fan of her channel over the years. Some of her projects have been pretty interesting.

I do like how she reviewed the truck without holding it to what she expects out of body on frame vehicles. Her review matches my thoughts on the Ridgeline. It's in a class of its own.

I am in the same boat as @royicus. I have not really watched her since she moved into the new garage space. At least she works on her own vehicles. unlike many YouTubers who just buy the mods and have other people install them - "autovlog" and "steetspeed717"

Me too. Just stumbled across it and was pleasantly surprised. Kind like a lady Savage Geese without the somewhat snobbish tone (though I like SG a lot), as both of them put the RL on a lift and both actually drove it pretty well, including in the dirt.

First I've ever heard of her. She did a great review. Very knowledgeable and she showed the things that make the Ridgeline superior to the competition. The trunk, the rear seats, the AWD system. She beat the every loving crap out of the Ridgeline. I was cringing at some of the stuff she did to that poor truck...but nothing broke.

She did a WAY better review than Doug DeMuro. She even went under the vehicle to show the suspension similar to Savagegeese. Good stuff!
Yes, a really excellent test and seemingly true reaction. It's about what I would've said, but no one would want to look at me for 20 seconds, let alone 20 minutes, lol.

I have to say, I started watching her and thought "she doesn't do this work herself" (probably due to her clean fingers and "those fingernails". But, I've been watching a lot of her videos and actually I've become very impressed with her thoughtfulness in the videos (even with the corny rating methods) and even though she really didn't say much about the 797 hp Charger (which I was surprised at), she did have some really good comments about the Acura NSX and rated it highly in her book. After watching some more videos of her stuff I determined why she likes it so much. She has a Toyota MR2. Which is mid engine too and they always handled a "certain way" when you drove them. And even though she doesn't mention it, I'm sure the NSX has all of that plus it's way more refined than any MR2 ever was. But watching her rebuild her MR2 I am certainly impressed with her skill set on wiring and wrenching. Not that I think we'll see any motor rebuilding videos from her (her shop is way too clean for engine or tranny rebuilding IMO) but she certainly is "entertaining" to watch.

After she did the review of the Mazda Miata, I wanted to buy one and now I'm back to the Ridgeline. I wish she would make up my mind.

I think it‘s a pretty capable vehicle with the AWD. The limitations are ground clearance, less than aggressive tires and lack of a crawl mode.

I went on a hunting road in the Black Hills a few weeks ago. The RL kept bottoming out going over hills because the center of the road was 6” or so high compared to the ruts. Thank goodness I had a front skid plate.

I think it could be made pretty OR worthy with a 2” lift, more aggressive tires and an OEM skid plate. But that would come at the expense of road comfort and gas mileage.

The better idea that I got from that trip was to rent ATVs for some extreme offroading. Best of both worlds, and more cost effective and less wear on the truck.
