Hello all, I need some help to decide if I should or should not buy a truck this old.
I'm in the market for a Ridgeline, is going to be my first truck and since I don't really need a truck and just want to have the bed, I decided for this model since it rides much like a suv and I love it.
I test drove 4 or 5 so far but they very from everpriced junk all the way to 30k 2014 at this moment. User car market is insane. Anyways, I found this woman selling her 2006 Ridgeline with 105k miles. Is the base model, has a new exhaust and acoording to her the timing belt was done not long ago. I'm expecting to spend something like $1500 in maintenance since I will be traveling from NY to Florida pulling a u-haul trailer and bed fully load with my belongings. She is asking $8k for the truck.
With limited information, what do oyou think? I'm a bit scared because of the radiator/transmission issue but I don't think I can afford a 2010+ truck now. I Saw a 2012 with 109k miles but dealer was asking $17.5 + registration and that was a bit much for me.
