A while back, I learned that a Tesla will also play music outside the vehicle using the same speaker that is used to make pedestrian warning, fart, and custom lock sounds. It's low fidelity, though.

I just purchased the same vehicle and was told by the dealer that it had the speakers but it did not.

As you have learned, never trust anything a dealer tells you.
