I have a 2010 Honda Ridgeline with 420,000 km on it. I was looking to change the rear diff but was seeing if there is an alternative to the Honda fluid. When I contacted my local Honda dealer, the price was outrageous for 2 L of it. Wondering if this stuff will work or it’ll cause issues.

The 75w90 gear oil is fine for the transfer case not the rear differential, the viscosity for HDP2 is closer to 0w20
